Robert Falcon Scott, British Antarctic Expedition (South Pole Expedition) on the ship Terra Nova, 1910 - 1913.
1912 - Pressure ridges along a sea-ice crack near the Barne Glacier, Ross Island. A long crack, probably caused by tides forms and then the ice on one side is pushed by tides, currents or wind into the other side and chaos ensues.
