1902 - Scott's ship Discovery in the Ross Sea with Mount Erebus. This expedition would include an attempt to reach the South Pole by Scott, Shackleton and Wilson, they set a new Farthest south but were still 480 miles away. Scurvy and frostbite dogged their return to the ship.
