Roald Amundsen, Norwegian South Pole Expedition on the ship Fram, 1910 - 1912.
1911 - Helmer Hanssen and Oscar Wisting with Amundsen at Framheim in a snow cave dug out as a workshop. Here the men are working on a Nansen sledge during the winter a time when all equipment and supplies were readied for the South Pole journey.
