Frozen clothes soon become soggy clothes when you come inside as they have absorbed an awful lot of sweat that in warmer temperatures would simply evaporate and be lost, in cold temperatures it freezes before it gets to the atmosphere.
The drying room is therefore a vital place to put damp and wet clothes to return them to a wearable state again.
