A PAPER BEARING THIS INSCRIPTION, WRITTEN BY THEIR COMRADE
A.K.K JACK WAS FOUND IN THE ICE FILLED HUT BY THE
NEW ZEALAND HUTS RESTORATION PARTY, 1960.
JACK AND JOYCE WHO MADE AND ERECTED THIS CROSS
HAD NOT ENOUGH TIME TO CARVE THE INSCRIPTION ON IT.
