Captain Scotts bunk

It's as if Robert Falcon Scott is likely to come back any day and continue where he left off. A reindeer skin sleeping bag sits on the bunk with a pile of blankets at the pillow end. A finnesko boot sits on a shelf, with socks hung up and the chair and desk where he would sit and write his diary prior to the fateful South Pole trek.

The bottom picture is an original picture of Scott at this desk taken in 1911, the middle is a composite of the two.
