Kulusuk - Fish Drying Rack - East Greenland - 1<br />, greenland, travel

Just outside the village of Kulusuk down a path is an abandoned fish processing factory which was set up by the Danish government to help the Greenlanders build their own industry. The fish would be gutted, salted and then dried on these wooden racks before being sold (or maybe the salting followed the drying?). A splendid and laudable idea until the fishery collapsed ending the enterprise.
