This was the first full day
of our trip, we'd been for a walk across the tundra,
seen reindeer and a number of kinds of birds,
cliffs, mountains, ice etc. Then this return to the
beach to go back to our very picturesque boat out
there. We certainly weren't in Kansas* any more.
*Actually we don't come from Kansas, we live in
Cambridgeshire, England, but I bet Kansas isn't like
this either and Dorothy would have probably have
said this had she landed in Svalbard instead of Oz.
We do however have a cairn terrier (like Toto)
called Lila.
