Hunting is very much a part of
Northern culture and the way of life. You will see all sorts of
bits of dead animals in public places such as this airport.
We were gathered here while our
luggage was being dealt with and taken to the ship ahead of us,
meanwhile we milled about inside and outside for a bit feeling
properly on vacation now as everything was very different to our
version of normal.
There wasn't a chance to visit
Resolute properly or look around which was no great loss as it's
one of those places you pass through en route to elsewhere
rather than visit for its own sake, my guidebook said
"Godforsaken Resolute....", "The land is downright lunar...".
