Signy Island Antarctica Foca hut
This hut was about 30 years old at this time having
housed Fids for many away-days from base and working parties over the
years. Supplies were brought by boat in the summer or skidoo in the
winter. Being in charge of a hut's supplies and maintenance was one of
the base jobs that people chose. There were 3 huts including this one on
the island.
