Signy Island Antarctica base summer 3
The end of summer and this fur seal visitor really needs
to get himself off the island and be heading north before the ice gets
too heavy for him to make much headway. This ice is probably not
representative of conditions outside the cove however as wind would
sometimes blow this brash ice in, sometimes it came from an iceberg that
had split up making lots of this icy rubble in the process.
