Signy Island Antarctica base 12
Behind the (now removed) yellow plastic hut that was the
main accommodation building on Signy for nearly 30 years. Interesting
wind-scoops would reach to the upper floor. It was possible to jump
fairly safely from the upper windows into these snow scoops, which
occasionally happened in times of merriment.
