Signy Island Antarctica

Summer shot from a boat in the bay. Summer on base wasn't a great
time, the snow melted back, sea-ice left, lots of strange people came
and spent their time being far too busy, busy round base and giving
orders.
This picture shows the different buildings clearly. Dark Tønsberg
House in the centre - 1950's, Pale yellow plastic hut on the left,
1960's, Boat shed small green building at the front - 1970's and Sørlle
House large green shed 1980's. The latest addition of all in this
picture was the satellite dome to the right.
