Evan's
Bunk - Scott's
Hut

One of the hardest things for us to appreciate today
is the minimal space and lack of privacy that was taken
for granted by the early Antarctic explorers.
Each man would have little more personal space than a modern
single bed and a small shelf. These bunks are shown to be
open, but usually a blanket or sheet would be fixed in place
to give slightly more privacy.
