Now I have no evidence for this but as the contents of the huts are what is left after two Antarctic winters, I am prepared to guess that tinned curried rabbit and lunch tongue were not the most appetizing of foodstuffs that were available at Cape Royds. Unopened Tins of both these things seem quite common down there.
