Heading back to base
one day by skidoo having just driven through the lit-up gap at the North
end of Signy Island, for a short moment, the setting sun was low
enough to shine through the gap and illuminate the sea-smoke that had
built up throughout the day from places where the sea was in contact
with much colder air.
You can make out the layer
of sea-smoke rising to about 7-10m (20-30ft) to the left of the lit-up
portion of the photograph.
