An every day scene of scientists and an emperor penguin in Antarctica

The wildlife was there long before man was and it's man who is the interloper in this landscape, so it's not unusual for anyone going about their daily tasks to either be investigated by the wildlife or as in this case, just happen to found themselves nearby to where the wildlife just happens to be walking. These scientists are investigating the biology of Antarctic fishes.

I can't help but like the expression the penguin seems to be have, sort of "If I keep my head down, I'm pretty sure they won't notice me - maybe I'll find some fish they don't want".
