Prince Leopold Island - Black Guillemots Nesting

The good thing about sedimentary rock if you're a nesting bird is that the different layers erode at different rates so providing you with some useful ledges to build you nest on and so make it difficult for predators to get to you. Such is the case on Prince Leopold Island where the idea has been endorsed by about 100,000 pairs of Black Guillemots.
