He collects the clay himself from local quarries. He then grinds and sifts it to remove impurities, and mixes it with water. After the clay reposes overnight, Chaiyasien shapes the piece and fires it at 900�C (1,652�F) for 12 hours. It cools for eight hours before he finishes it with paint and lacquer. Clean with a dry cloth. |
