Dear Members
As most of you I am also looking for a job in Antarctica. I am 22 years old and finished my studies of economics in Switzerland. So I am not a specialist, rather a generalist - this is Problem Number one! Since I am planning a trip to Antarctica, I am having some difficulties finding opportunities to work there. As a Swiss it is even more difficult because, as far as I know, we do not have any Polar Station down there. So it would be very nice to get some hints from people who are happy and got a job, thank you very much! Holly |

My friend started basically from the bottom as a deck hand aboard a big ship. He was fairly dedicated and it took only like 6 months to find a job on a boat that worked close to the north pole, he has no interest in going to antarctica but i imagine if he did he would not have problems getting down there with the experience he has now. He doesn't even have a generalist degree either. Keep your head up!!
