Default Other work options available, apart from BAS

Hi, I'm British. Apart from working for the British Antartic Survey, what other options are available for me if I want to spend some time working in Antartica? Are there for example NGOs I can work for (offering paid/unpaid work for a few months or more) or other bases I can work for. If I want to work for BAS, if Im not a scientist, what other support roles are available for those wishing to work in Antartica, apart from Dive officer, boat handler, mountaineer etc? Do they employ nurses for example. Also are there any menial roles?
