Hi Paul,

As you can see I'm new to the forum...and quite glad about it. I feel a bit like a kid in a candy shop! I briefly looked at archived threads/posts and didn't see anything about you. I gather you've spent considerable time on the ice.

I'm curious, though, about what prompted you to Anarctica? Now here comes the 20 questions:

What did you do there? (loads of pictures I see)

In what capacity were you on the ice? Work I assume!

When was the last time you were there?

Are you going back...can I come with you!

In the duration that you spent on the ice, have you witnessed-if any- detrimental effects of humans/tourism on the wildlife there?

O.K. not 20 questions, but don't tempt me.

Joking aside, it is really nice to see something like this on the web. I've been on about this subject for quite some time at the expense of my husband's sanity. As for myself, I have lost touch with reality a while back, what with being obsessed with the White Continent and all.
