Default What do you do to reduce global warming?

Not what you intend to, or think other people should do, but honestly what do you do now?

For now I am taking one step at at time to learn about the issues regarding global warming. I am making a commitment to do something helpful everyday for "Mother Earth" by recycling at business and home, conserving energy,
not wasting water, and reaching out by learning what else I can do to be of help, i.e. support groups, fund-raising, etc. To acknowledge and have knowledge of global warming is the first step in helping to make a difference
Please offer any suggestions as to how we can help. I want to learn how to become involved. Is there a basic list to reduce global warming?

Pirates Armada, you would be astounded at the trash companies are passing off as "toys". As a parent birthdays etc are a nightmare. It's so hard to convince your own kids that you can't play with a particular when the answer is "but so and so's mum and dad let him!!"
Maybe there should be a campaign to rid the world of vile toys once and for all...with a toy like that who needs another world war?
By the way, this site has been the most helpful site I have been on since I discovered the net!

I am freshmen in Cool Antarctica. However I fell in love with this website at my first site.In order to do something to reduce the global warming,I go to work by bus instead of driving car.And persuade other companion and friends to do so.

Dorothy,

Once you visit you can never leave. It's like "Hotel California" but in a good way! I love it here. People are friendly and the atmosphere of the site is clean and wholesome. You can trust that your kids will not pick up any "undesirables" here.

By the way, I'm Australian and a little ignorant of overseas terms, but what's a "freshman"? And since there are now women in colleges, is the plural "freshpeople"? (please note that last comment was purely meant for innocent entertainment value).

Dorothy,

I would love to visit China one day. I'm completely fascinated with the Great Wall. Have you walked on it? Unfortunately China is so far away.....but we have Chinatown in Sydney and it's amazing. Not like the real thing of course but you can get authentic Chinese food and the New Years celebrations are fantastic!
