Default Realistic prospects

Ok here is my story: I have alway been interested in doing a tour in Antarctica. Just off the wall said something to wife otherday about it after seeing a job on the internet and she says she is game for it.

Now, I am 36 years old and have two kids that are not out on there own yet, but would like to get a little more serious about looking into this.

I have my A+P certificate (aircraft mechanic licence), have been a paper mill Instrument/Electrician last 6 years and am currently in college for A.S. in instrumentation.

My wife has a B.A, in speech therapy. Granted her profession is surely not highly needed there but she would/could do cooking etc.

If you have done a "tour" I would like your opinion if I/we could have a shot at doing this? Do they encourage or discourage married couples.

I could not get the story from " Penelope Chilton " to read is there any other information or stories about how life is?

We are going to plan our vacation next year to try to catch one of the 'Job Fairs'

Thanks
TA
