I have seen a few news stories about the 2 Argentine men who fell into a crevasse and that a rescue mission was ongoing, but it has been a few days with no followup information.
Does anyone know if they were rescued? |

Doesn't seem to have been any news since about the 19th and it's now a week since they disappeared. I don't think they had a chance, it was a 60m (over 190 feet) fall. |

It gets worse:
Three Chilean soldiers whose snow vehicle fell into a deep crevasse in the Antarctic on Wednesday have been found dead, officials say. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/4297550.stm |
