Having looked into this somewhat, it seems it's not
too difficult (famous last words?) to set up a blog within a web site.
So if you are due to spend any time in Antarctica, from weeks to a year or more, then I could set you up with a blog of your own on this website to run while you are South.
Reasons to do this?
- I get the headache of setting it up - not you.
- No advertising in the way that you get with other blogging software, there will be a (text only) link somewhere near the header to this website and to a blog-index page (if it ever gets that far!)
- Free - I'll say that again, because it's worth saying twice - FREE
What do I get from this? My intention is to build the definitive Antarctic website for anyone interested in the continent and by having such blogs under the main domain name, then it's all in one place and easier to find.
