Default Private missions?

Don't take it too seriously, but I was wondering, how feasible would it be to set up a private mini-base on Antarctica? Aspects I am looking at are:

1. Legal

- Would it be against any international treaty?
- Other potential issues

2. Technical

- Housing suitable for extreme weather conditions
- Energy supply, constant and redundant and at hte same time not increasing pollution levels
- Other potential issues

3. Medical

- What to do in case of minor problems
- Emergency rescue in case of major problems (surgery needed and such)
- Requirements for all staff

4. Financial

- Cost of building prefab-housing elements
- Cost of all equipment
- Cost of snowmobiles and other vehicles
- Cost of food and fuel supplies
- Cost of transport of all cargo to the final destination
- Cost of airline tickets
- Cost of achieving zero or near zero-polution
- Other costs

5. Enviromental issues

- How to achieve zero or near zero polution
- Waste processing technologies

6. Anything else that can affect the mission in any way
