South with Endurance, Royal Geographical Society - 16 postcards 16 x 12 cm - 6" x 4" GBP6

Shackleton's Endurance expedition to the Antarctic is one of the great stories of exploration and human survival. Accompanying Shackleton was photographer Frank Hurley who managed to salvage a selection of the photographic material he took during the months the crew spent stranded on the ice. These postcards are reproductions of some of Hurley's impressive photos, now kept at the Royal Geographical Society.
