Queen Anne's Lace is named after Queen Anne of England, an expert lace maker. She pricked her finger with a needle during a lace-making contest. A single drop of blood fell into the lace, represented by the dark purple floret in the center of the flower. We've reproduced every detail of the flower in tiny French knots on our cardigan.
