How not to go boating in sea ice. Why not? Well if the wind gets up and blows the ice together - as it does readily and easily, then the boat goes too. No way back as the sea is all small flaoting bits and the boat can't get through it all. Not recommended - makes for good pictures and experiences though, which after all is the real purpose of going to Antarctica!
