VP- FAP demonstrating the short take-off capabilities of the Twin Otter. The take-off run started at our camp-site in the background which was approximately 100m from where the shot was taken. The plane's last contact point with the ground was at about 72m as I recall. The plane was empty and taking off into a 20 knot headwind. The pilot will remain anonymous as this is not a recognised manoeuvre even if it does make for a good photo!
