John Carpenter (1967) - Tokoroa, New Zealand. Spent 6 days on the ice @ Scott Base with the RNZAF - 40 Sqdn air supply drop for the building of the Vanda lake research hut - Icecube 3 I think was the name of the special operation carried out by the RNZAF. email available

Nicki Fairbairn (2000/2001, winter over) - Germany Worked as winter domestic (all year) and then bar/shop manager when Jenna went home over the Winter Months. Hydroponics was a great part of the duties back then.

Bob Isles (1989/2005 - Scott Base/ Terra Nova) - Christchurch NZ. 18 trips from 1989 till 2005, running shop and bar at Scoot Base, also shop at Terra Nova ( Italian ) and Dome C.

Jenna "Tiges" Kelley (2000/2001) - Melbourne, Australia I was the Canteen Manager at Scott Base in 2000/2001 and I ran the shop and the bar. I have published a fiction based on fact novel called "Wild Winds."

Pete PVK van Kampen (3 Squadron RNZAF - 1989) - Aigje, Switzerland Liked the Ice so much I ended up living in the Alps!

Don Webster (1960,1963) - Palmerstson North, New Zealand Wintered over 1960 and again in 1963. Installed and operated the Auroral Radar, the first science installations to use Arrival Heights. When the experiment closed down in 1967 the hut was move to lake Vanda.
