Colin Ballamy (Nelson)  (1973)  Angola  email  Served on board the Biscoe with a great bunch of people, big John Summers, Mossey, Aldridge,The Crockford brothers and there cousin, Skipper was Capt. From time to time I get emails from people trying locate ex FIDS, these people are often not ex-fids themselves, so I thought I'd add another option for you to post your message and add your email address for contact. John Manison - Biscoe - 1950's / 1960's  email  Birmingham/London (me) I would like to find anyone who worked with my Dad, Harold Manison on the John Biscoe in the 1950's or 1960's. He's now 77 and living in Birmingham. I am currently trying to get his slides put onto disc and would love to get other photos from ex shipmates and maybe arrange to meet. Cheers

Douglas Toal (John Biscoe / Shackleton - late 50s/ early 60s)  Stranraer Scotland.  I would love to hear from anyone who worked beside my late brother Terry Toal who was on the John Biscoe and the Shackleton some time in the late 50s or early 60s. He told me a story of how the Biscoe was damaged by ice and the crew had to dump there cargo and make for Montevideo.  email available
