Walking down Moraine Valley (now I confess, my memory may be playing me tricks, is this really what this place is called? or am I confusing it with another place?) down towards Gourlay. I did this walk so many times and never once took a picture of it as it was so ordinary at the time. It was also a bit of a boring slog until you got to somewhere a bit more interesting, so it was head down and keep going until you hit the Gourlay snow-slope. I'm particularly pleased to have this picture as looking at it now, it shows what a really ethereal and special place Signy is. Photo copyright Simon Coggins |
