Some things are timeless however, and I hope that this view remains that way. There are many reports of the effects of warming on the Antarctic Peninsula, but I'm very pleased to see this view exactly as I remember it. Maybe the Sunshine Glacier has retreated but it doesn't like it from this picture. Isn't "Sunshine" the best name for a glacier? It was often in bright sunlight even under the mank as the sun shone through from the north side of Coronation Island - better than being named after someone long gone and forgotten.
