Two Twin Otters, one operated by Kenn Borek Air (behind), one by the British Antarctic Survey (foreground).
Note differences: The Kenn Borek aircraft is a ski-plane only, while the British aircraft has skis strapped to the tires, for a quick change from solid runways to snow. Fortunately, such changes can be made at ice runways, which can be used with wheel OR skis.
