One end of the Power Plant Arch. Talk about a cut-away view . . . this view was only possible because the tractor that clearing the snow from the Arches managed to fall through this connecting tunnel between the Old Power Plant Arch and the Old Garage Arch. Fortunately, this connector was coming out anyway, so no harm done.
The arches have wooden walls ("bulkheads" in local terms, reflecting the Naval history of the place) at one end, where the arches are buried, and metal bulkheads at the end where they have their doors leading outside. After the connector was collapsed, parts were cut away so it would be passable.
