A particularly impressive and popular picture and a rare one too. I've not seen another picture of this scene with the same balance of colours and clouds. My guess is that it is the result of keeping an eye out for what the weather and light are doing and then a quick grab of the camera gear and a dash up to the anno tower when on base the scene would have been largely missed.
