Part of a Russian film crew that for some odd reason chose to do some filming on Signy (there must be dozens of more convenient locations), Svetlana as one of the micro-group of women who had visited Signy at that time had a short stretch of water named after her between a couple of small islands off Gourlay where this picture was taken.
Said stretch of water is called "Svetlana's Passage", so raising the curiosity of any who see it on a map and ensuring that the story is continued!
