Tonsberg House being built at the bottom of the slope where it is less exposed and easier to get supplies to from the sea. Note how broken and irregular the terrain is leading to the placement of pillars onto which the hut is being built. This is a regular feature of building in Antarctica. Solid land is a rare commodity and the rock substrates are often as difficult to build on as this one.
